How Our Process Works
Finding the right support for your child can feel like a big step.
We’ve been there as parents ourselves, and that’s why we’ve made the process simple, personal, and designed to put you at ease.
From the first phone call to weekly check-ins, you’ll always know what’s happening and where your child is headed. We like to call it: Listen → Assess → Plan → Grow
Fill out our brief Student Inquiry Form and tell us a little about your learner. This helps us arrive at your free consultation fully prepared, so we can spend more time on what actually matters, not playing twenty questions.
Step 2: Let's Talk
Once we receive your form, our Program Director will reach out to learn more about what you’re seeing at home or at school, and what you’d like to improve. We’ll work together to determine the best next steps and if an assessment makes sense.
Step 3: Is an Assessment Needed?
Sometimes we can confidently suggest a plan after the initial conversation. In other situations, an assessment provides us with a clear starting point and eliminates guesswork. If we decide an assessment would be beneficial, we’ll schedule it and clearly explain what it includes.
Types of Assessments We Offer
KTEA (Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement)
Measures current skill levels in reading and math and provides a baseline for growth in our Skill-Based Program.
Helps determine whether dyslexia characteristics may be present and whether a structured dyslexia program would be beneficial.
Establishes a current performance baseline and identifies the highest-impact focus areas for our SAT Prep Program.
Step 4: Create a Personalized Plan
After the assessment, we’ll review results together and build a plan with clear, realistic goals that make sense for your family. You’ll know what we’re working on, why it matters, and how we’ll track progress over time.

Diagnostic Assessment Fee*
$35 paid on day of assessment for KTEA (Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement)
*If learner enrolls in Skills-Based Learning or Homework Help programs, this fee will be credited towards first month's tuition.
